Who We Are
Family Expectations (FE) is a comprehensive, couple-based intervention with the goal of strengthening couple relationships in Oklahoma County in order to provide the best possible environment in which to raise a child. FE targets the transition to parenthood because it is a crucial time that provides “teachable moments” to encourage change. Experts maintain that key life transitions (such as the birth of a baby) allow the greatest opportunities for preventative services. The best setting for raising children is to have two parents in a healthy marriage, as represented by our slogan: “The two of you want what is best for your baby … What is best for your baby is the two of you!”
Family Expectations is managed by Public Strategies (PSI). Founded in 1990 by Mary Myrick, PSI is a private project management and strategic planning firm. PSI serves public, private and not-for-profit organizations in education, business and human services. The company is committed to meeting the distinct needs of clients by providing a variety of services.
